This beautiful and well-kept domain, complete with a château straight out of a fairytale, a number of attractive out-buildings and extensive rolling grounds lies in the heart of the Bordelais, in the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux region, half an hour by car from Bordeaux and an hour from the Atlantic coast. The château dates back to the pre-French Revolution era and was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style in the late 19th century after a fire. Wine production began here in the Middle Ages, and the tradition is still alive today. In 1989 the current owners acquired the estate, they devoted all their energy in to expanding and developing viticulture here, replanting the vineyards and upgrading the wine production facilities: which are now equipped with state of the art technology. The affiliated distribution company distributes the domain’s wines worldwide. Numerous prizes and awards from leading specialist journals bear witness to the constant improvements in the quality of wine produced by the estate. The château has been lovingly and sympathetically renovated and modernised; it is now fitted out in a charming historical style and offers guest accommodation (Bed and Breakfast), as well as the facilities to host seminars, functions and receptions – its views are unparalleled taking in the hilly slopes, forests and fallow land of the estate.
